When this set was first announced late last year, I, and possibly many others thought this set would have something to do with ‘The Mandalorian’ series. But when the images were first released and I found out my hopes were not quite on the ball, I was not disappointed.
Because these mini-figs look amazing.
Like all Battle Packs (a phrase that will be often repeated in this post) the box contains two smallish bags and an instruction booklet.
We get four Mandalorian mini-figs in this set, two male and two female (based on the helmet designs), each one has a coloured cape and a stud-shooter blaster.
Each mini-fig has a unique colour scheme which makes each one stand out and they all look great. I especially like the green and blue mini-figs as the colours just pop out at me.
The builds are quite good, firstly we get a Speeder Bike, which at first glance seems to be a Lego creation but it is in fact featured in a few episodes of ‘The Clone Wars’ that focuses on the Mandalorians. It can seat one mini-fig and has two stud launchers, one on either side of the vehicle.
The second part of the set is a gun emplacement that looks like it’s been built in a rocky area. It has a space to place one of the stud-launcher blasters and room for a Mandalorian to operate it.
In terms of Battle Packs I can safely say this has been one of my favourites to get, the mini-figs are fantastic and the vehicle and scenery look great. Definitely one I would recommend getting.
